Qur’anic Reference:

Surah An-Nahl:
With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought. (16:11)

Surah An Naba:
Verily, for the Muttaqun, there will be a success (Paradise); Gardens and grapeyards; (78:31-78:32)

It is mentioned that grapes are one of the fruits of jannah. Ibn Qayyim Jawziyyah, mentioned that the Prophet SAW used to love grapes and watermelon. Early people used to say that one of the best fruits created is grapes because there are a lot of talk about it. A lot of study about it in the old Arabic books, and now today people are discovering the benefits.

Benefits:

Grapes are high in sugar, vitamin B, vitamin C and vitamin K.

Grapes are good for blood circulation, strengthening the arteries, decreasing pain of the joints, increasing the immune system and gives good character since it energises. It increases the “happiness hormone” or serotonin. It generates energy in a short time.

It is good for supporting the muscles and is considered to give strength to the people who have physical weakness or fatigue, arising from anaemia, pancreas or liver problems, and also for those who have typhoid and rheumatism. New studies show that it is good for curing and preventing cancer, heart diseases, improving the blood circulation, memory and helping with bone density problems.

Grape skin is considered to be extremely important for digestion, helps to ease constipation, is healthy for the colon, eases heartburn and helps the liver function to break all fat cells. Vitamin B and K.

Red grapes contain antioxidants and helps the body to produce and regenerate its cells, and is important for fighting cancer, reducing cholesterol and fighting early aging. It is also good for coughs, allergies, asthma and is very important to help cure lung diseases.

It is better to take grapes in the early part of the day.
